The ITaRS fellows Claudia Acquistapace, Pilar Gumà-Claramunt and Alexander Myagkov participated in the first MIRA Millimetre Cloud Radar Workshop, hosted by the Meteorological Institute of the Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich on 14th and 15th May 2014. The aim of the workshop was to bring together experts working with cloud radars in order to share knowledge and discuss about different topics related to the instrument (such as sensitivity and calibration procedures) and data processing (i.e. the usefulness of iQ data, the MIRA software and the data formats used). The schedule also included a rooftop tour to see the instruments of the Meteorological Institute.
