A 5-days summer school titled, 'Foundations and Advances in Stochastic Filtering (FASF)' was held in Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC), Castelldefels (Barcelona), Spain, during the 22-26 June, 2015.
Five one day tutorials, one per day, on the state-of-the-art research problems and approaches in the signal processing field were organized during the summer school. Moreover, a round table on open problems in stochastic filtering was also held. ITaRS Fellow ESR2, Umar Saeed, participated in the summer school and presented a poster titled, 'Adaptive Signal Processing in Atmospheric Remote Sensing: Atmospheric-Boundary-Layer Height Estimation from Lidar Data'.
